Time Module
Timezone terminal and inline time suggestions
The Time Module gives your server a live timezone terminal and inline time suggestion commands.
Time Terminal
The Time Terminal is a persistent panel you deploy into a channel. Members use it to register their timezone preferences — their UTC offset and whether their region observes Daylight Saving Time. Once set, the terminal displays all registered timezones across your server and their current local time.
/setup modules to enable the module, then follow the setup prompts to choose which channel it lives in.Time Suggestions
Only members who have set their timezone preferences can use time suggestions. There are two ways to trigger them:
When suggesting a time in chat, prefix it with ! — e.g. Let's play at !5pm. HelNet will automatically convert it to every registered member's local time.
Find any message containing a time (e.g. Let's play at 5pm). Long press or right-click → Apps → HelNet → Time Suggest. The original sender must also have their timezone set.
Commands
/time-terminal
Deploy the live timezone terminal into the current channel. Run this after enabling the Time Module.
/set-time-pref
Set your UTC offset and DST preference directly, without needing to interact with the terminal panel.
